WHY THIS SUBJECT? I chose an issue that expands off of environmental injustice, the issue at hand is unsafe drinking water conditions that impact children. I believe the focus on children is a bit more important than adults because the children do not have the knowledge or understanding on why the water would be unsafe to drink
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? I believe the most important aspect to know about the work that this is happening all over the world and not in just certain areas. This is not only impacting children but also is a toll on the environment too. Looking and thinking about my art, I hope one aspects is understood; that the children and earth cannot speak up for themselves.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? My process was really focusing on the environment, but adding us humans in the aspect as well. Again, focusing on children was very important to me because they cannot yet speak up for themselves. Standing up for the younger generation will only build a stronger foundation for them and our environment.
