Description
WHY THIS SUBJECT? chose to focus on environmentalism in order show awareness to the issue of pollution and to show the harm it is doing to our world. I believe it is important that we realize what we are doing to our world and that we should all make better environmentally friendly choices to save our planet.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? You should know that this work is intended to show all types of pollution and those being air, water, and land pollution. They all impact the world negatively and it harms the way we and animals live.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? When working on this piece, I used photoshop to put the images and illustrations together. I wanted this to be shaped as the world so that it is obvious that it is a global issue. I intended to do this in a collage like style in order to paste photographs so it shows that it is a real life problem. I also illustrated bottles, cans, and plastic bags on top of the photos because I wanted the viewer's attention to go first to the trash.
