Description
WHY THIS SUBJECT? I am really inspired by my generation and how much we reject gender roles. They are becoming a thing in the past which I believe is a really good thing. There should not be any rules we should follow simply because we are a particular gender.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? This work was inspired by pop culture and the role models I see in our society that are rejecting gender roles.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? I started by creating a pinterest board of inspiration and from there developed the idea for a collage (similar look to a pinterest board). I wanted to include a bunch of unique ways of people defying gender roles since that can look like so many things.
