Description
WHY THIS SUBJECT? I wanted to pay homage to Keith Haring, and to create a work that focused on remembrance and how to approach mourning for those you never knew.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? The figures are both of Keith Haring, the title and words on the piece are in reference to a painting by Kerry James Marshall, and the figures hand was left unfinished and with paint dripping as a reference to the uncompleted final painting by Keith Haring.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? I painted on an unstretched canvas in oil and acrylic.
