WHY THIS SUBEJCT? The topic of multi racial families and the bias they go through is on a personal level to me. I wanted to shine light on this topic and spread normalcy. In regards to the title, some people traditionally see family as blood related. It's important to understand that if the person is being loved and cared for that's what matters.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW? I decided to go with a grey muted tone to further make the red border more impactful. The red border is in regards to what the lady behind the counter is thinking towards the black child. Like she is noticing the differences between the two, but still acting against it.
