College Oral History Projects

These oral histories from people who shaped modern Columbia College Chicago, reflect the institution's rich history through the personal narrative of its faculty, staff, and administrators. Their interviews, conducted at varied times over the past 30 years, illustrate the creativity and experiences of those who developed the curriculum and encouraged students to live the college motto, "to be rather than to seem" through the practice of "learn to do by doing".
