These Piano Courses were developed by former Vice President of Sherwood Music School, Arthur J. Llewellyn beginning in 1928. The courses include lessons, studies, compositions, exercises, and examinations that progress from Grade 1 (Preparatory) to Grade 8 (Graduate). By affiliating teachers around the country to teach the "Sherwood Method" and offering these correspondence music courses, many Sherwood students were able to access a well-rounded piano education.
