These photographs, from the Rozell "Prexy" Nesbitt archival collection, depict events leading up to and during the 1994 general elections in Mozambique. Prior to the 1994 election, all elections in Mozambique had been one-party elections, with FRELIMO, or Mozambique Liberation Front party, having been the sole legal party.
