Hair Trigger was a student-edited literary anthology produced by Columbia College Chicago featuring work by Columbia students, staff, and alumni. First printed in 1977, it ceased publication with volume forty-one in 2019.
In 2021, a new publication Allium: A Journal of Poetry & Prose replaced the three genre-specific journals, Columbia Poetry Review (poetry), Hair Trigger (fiction), and Punctuate (non-fiction), designed as a multi-genre print and online publication.
