The project begins as an observation of my life partner. Surrounded by what was uncommon to her after she came to a new country, I noticed she began isolating herself from any exterior interaction. A level of discomfort and nostalgia was evident in her mundane activities. With the help of symbols that I was aware of in the surroundings, I attempted to describe her internal struggle and I began documenting our daily life.
