WHY THIS SUBJECT? I knew I wanted to use this opportunity to say something about exploring my gender identity. It's a really important issue to me, trans rights and the opportunity to test out different ways how you want to live your life on this earth.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? What should you know about this work. That's a good question. I don't think it's any sort of groundbreaking achievement in visual design or messaging, necessarily. I chose colors I thought looked were pretty. I used a framing I thought looked nice. I really just tried to make it as beautiful and expressive as I could with my limited skillset.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? don't feel like my process was especially extraordinary or unusual, I took some basic silhouette images that I found online and just used Photoshop to make them do interesting things. A fairly straightforward editing job, nothing crazy.
