WHY THIS SUBJECT? I lost my best friend to suicide in October, and the worsening of his depression took over throughout COVID.
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT THE WORK? This is an informative piece. I want it to be like a hug, or an extended hand to people that are feeling depressed or going through a time where they feel incredibly alone. I want them to know they are not alone.
WHAT WAS YOUR PROCESS? My technique was acrylic paint. I used a regular white paint canvas and first outlined the drawing in pencil before painting it.
